One of her lives… an actress. Raleigh’s original One Woman Solo Show comedy “SPLAT!-The Evolution of Soul 685” is currently on tour, coming to a stage near you. J

Bitten by the acting bug early in life, Raleigh, much like the Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney characters, put on shows in her backyard performing for family, friends and neighbors. Even the knife sharpener, the vegetable cart driver and the huckleberry lady were fair game, entreated to rest their weary bones and be entertained with song and dance routines of Raleigh’s creation.

An avid thespian in high school and college, Raleigh brought to life Ella Peterson in Bells Are Ringing, Ruth Sherwood in My Sister Eileen, and Babe Williams in Pajama Game. For three years running (06, 07, 08) Raleigh wowed the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts audiences in Eve Ensler’s Vagina Monologues as “The Woman Who Loved to Make Vaginas Happy.” In ’08 Raleigh produced the event.
