Carefree Arizona Award Winning One-Person Comedy Solo Show Actress If you ever had someone suggest that the story you just told would make a great show or skit, or if you’ve ever thought of turning your precious memories, your compelling stories, and those comedic moments into a one person show, now is your opportunity. No previous writing or acting experience necessary, just a passion and willingness to tell your story. “If you’ve ever entertained this idea, but couldn’t figure out how you get it started, and what’s more, how to get an audience to come see you… then wonder no more,” says Pinskey. “Yes, creating and performing a one-person show can be intimidating, even daunting,” she admits, “but it doesn't have to stop you from telling your story and having a good time doing it.” Pinskey offers three workshop levels to help you get your creative feet wet. The three levels include a four hour introductory workshop to find the story you want to tell and what it takes to get a show from page to stage; an eight hour intensive workshop where you learn the tools for putting on a show; and a five week workshop in which you develop your characters, begin to develop and write your show, and present 15 minutes to a live audience of invited guests the final week.
